Grandma Knowles' Raisin Cookies

This is the best Raisin Cookie I have come across. It has been passed down from my husband's grandmother.

1/2 c. butter or margarine (or 1/2 c. bean puree, see earlier post on beans)
1/2 c. shortening (or 1/2 c. bean puree, 1 can equals 1 cup)
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup raisins, ground (I just chopped mine up on a cutting board.)
1/2 cup oatmeal
2 Tablespoons Milk
1 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
3 cup flour
1/2 Teaspoon salt
2 eggs

Beat together wet ingredients, mix well. Add in all the dry ingredients and raisins, mix well. Roll into a 1 inch ball and place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
