Tonic for Colds

Once again cold season is upon us.  If you are like me, you are always trying to find a way to get through that cold and alleviate a stuffy nose and cough.  I posted the following recipe at All Things Natural. I'll admit that it isn't the tastiest of recipes, but it helps clear out your sinus' and it is loaded with good for you ingredients. As a side benefit, it may be good for weight loss, I didn't want to eat anything after taking this cold tonic.

Ingredients

1/4 teaspoon Cayenne
1/4 teaspoon Ginger
1 tablespoon of Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar
2 Tablespoon Water
1 Tablespoon Honey
1 slice of onion (optional, not in the original recipe but onion is great in breaking up mucus.)

Instructions

In a small jar combine all ingredients and mix well.  Take one tablespoon through out the day as needed.  Shake the jar well before each use.
