Blender Wheat Pancakes

For long term food storage it is recommended that we store 400 lbs. of grains per person for a one year supply. Grains include wheat, flour, rice, corn, oatmeal, and pasta.  There are many ways to use wheat without a wheat grinder. The following recipe is a great example and it is yummy. Your family won't even know you are using food storage.

Blender Wheat Pancake Ingredients:

1 cup milk
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. uncooked whole wheat
1/2 c. oil
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. honey or sugar
1 bananna (optional)

Put milk and wheat in blender. Blend on highest speed for four or five minutes, or until batter is smooth. Add eggs, oil, baking powder, baking soda, honey, salt, and bananna, and blend on low. Bake on hot griddle.
